The scheme namo Lakshmi Yojana by the education department, government of Gujarat aims to encourage girls studying in government, aided and private school in Gujarat to complete their education from class 9 to 12th by providing direct financial assistance. Each eligible girl will receive a total financial support of Rs. 50000 on competition on class is 9 to 12 under the scheme.
What is namo Lakshmi Yojana ?
Namo Lakshmi Yojana is a welfare scheme aimed at empowering girls through .education the Gujarat government provides financial assistance to female studies so that they can continue their schooling without financial burden.
Eligibility criteria
- The applicant must be a girl.
- The applicant must be a student.
- The applicant must be a studying in class 9th to 12th in any government, government-aided, or private secondary/ higher secondary School in Gujarat.
- The applicant must have an annual family income of less than or equal to 6 lakh.
- The applicant must maintain regular attends to be eligible for monthly assistance.
- Each eligible girl will receive a total financial support of 50000/-on compilation of classes 9th to 12th in government, aided and private schools.
- Class 9th 10th benefit
- Rs.10000 per annum (Rs.500 per manth based on attendance x10)and the remaining 50% will be carried via DBT direct benefit transfer after passing the class 10th board examination.
- Class 11th 12th benefit
- 15000 per a new (Rs .750 per month based on attendance x10) and the remaining 50% will be candidate via dbt after passing the class 12th board examination.

- Step 1: applicant should request or hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the school authority
- Step 2: in the application form provide all the mandatory detail and attach copy of all the mandatory documents self attested if required.
- Step 3: submit the duty field and signed application form along with the supporting documents to the district education officer.
- Step 4: request received or acknowledgement from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted.
