Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria Differ Slightly Based On The Type Of School The Student Is Currently Studying In (Government Vs Private).

1. For Students Of Government &Grant-in-Aid Schools

Students Who Complete Their Studies From Standard 1 to 5 In The Following Types Of Schools Are Eligible For All The Above- Mentioned Schemes (Gyan shakti, Raksha Shakti And Gyan setu Scholarship):

• Government Schools
• Panchayat/Municipality/Municipal Corporation Run Schools
• Grant-in-Aid Schools
• Schools Under Tribal Development Department/ Triber Education Society

2. For Students Of Private (Self - Financed) Schools

Students Who Complete Their Studies From Standard 1 to 5 In Private (Self- Financed) Schools Are Eligible ONLY For Admission Into: 

• Raksha Shakti Schools (Against 25% Reserved Seats)

Note: Private School Students Are Not Eligible For Gyan Shakti Schools Or The Gyan Setu Scholarship.

Merit List and Admission Process

After the declaration of the CET Result 2026, SEB Gujarat will publish the merit list of qualified candidates. Students who secure higher marks will be eligible for admission and scholarship schemes offered by the state government. The admission process will include merit-based selection, document verification, and school allotment.
